15th Annual Big Valley Arts & Culture Festival
CALL FOR ARTISTS AND CRAFTS PEOPLE

Join us for the 15th annual Big Valley Arts and Culture Festival on Saturday, October 4, 2008, in downtown Merced. This year promises to be our biggest and best celebration yet for artists and art enthusiasts of all ages.

It’s your talents that make the Festival a success year after year. We sincerely hope you’ll submit your original work for sale, and invite other artists and craftspeople you know to submit as well. We have many improvements this year to ensure your experience is more enjoyable than ever.

There is limited booth space and even more limited tents available for rent. So if you sign up early, by August 16, 2008, we’ll reward you with a 10% discount plus premium booth location. This is includes spaces for artists and craftspeople who create original work for sale, Global Village cultural spaces, and booth space for food vendors.

We encourage you to join the premier annual art and culture event in Merced. Simply complete an application and submit it with applicable fees to the Merced County Arts Council by September 19, 2008. Remember to include two checks - one for application fee, and one for your booth space. If you submit by August 16, you may take the 10% discount on your booth space payment. After that, please submit the full amount.

The The Big Valley Arts & Culture Festival is free for all attendees to enjoy live entertainment, handmade crafts, original art, and delicious ethnic foods. We hope you’ll join us in making this the best year ever for patrons to peruse and purchase your wonderful works.
