  • ARTREE

ARTREE provides an avenue for local artists to teach the visual and performing arts. ARTREE’s purpose is to stimulate creativity, broaden experiences and excite curiosity in the arts.

  • KIDS' DAY

We offer a FREE kids’ art project to get the creativity flowing! Our Kids’ Day at the MAC happens monthly, except for in December. Children ages 4 and up.

  • ADULT CLASSES

Coming back to the MAC this Fall! 6-week long painting and drawing classes for adults on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 pm. We look forward to seeing you then!

  • ART TOURS + FIELD TRIPS

Field trips to the Merced Multicultural Arts Center are available for school groups and community organizations at the MAC. ARTREE workshops can also be scheduled in conjunction with a tour of the exhibits and/or a Downtown Public Art Tour.

  • TEACHING ARTISTS

Do you love sharing your passion for art with children? If so, you might be interested in teaching through our ARTREE program. We also have opportunities for guest artists that would like to apply to teach adult classes at the MAC.

  • ENRICHMENT CENTER

In our art workshops, the artists of the EC work on exploring and learning new skills instructed by local artists.

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once they grow up.”
