Musical Theater Workshop

FOR AGES 8-18

Take your musical theatre skills to the next level. This one-of-a-kind workshop is designed to bring out the best in every aspiring performer, no matter their previous experience. Within a supportive Master Class setting, each student will be challenged to dive deeper into their song material; exploring character development, vocal technique, and stage presence. The workshop will culminate with a student showcase as they prepare to take center stage with confidence.

On Camera: Acting for Film

FOR AGES 8-18

Audition Only

A multi-level class designed to give actors a chance to work in an intimate setting with generous time to develop a new set of skills, applicable but not limited to, on-camera acting. Everything from terminology, slates, on-set etiquette, all the way to theatrical and commercial acting technique.

Over the course of 12 weeks, students will work on varying pieces from monologues to partner scenes, both dramatic and comedic. They will learn the basics of film acting, learn advance scene breakdown skills, character development and more.

Final Showcase Screening

Audition: September 2nd, 10:00 AM

Merced Multicultural Arts Center, 3rd Floor

Students must bring a one minute monologue to auditions. Memorized and well prepared.
